Since 1997, Common Ground has dedicated itself to delivering excellence in building envelope, home energy upgrading, and new construction. Take a look at some of our work below, and see what we take pride in.

Some of our work.
Laurel Place is a low-rise, wood-frame, strata building that had a complete building rehab done. After the entire building was stripped, CGC successfully brought the structure back to its former glory with new windows, roofing, decking membranes, railings, exterior hardie, and much more.
CGC's largest building envelope project to date is Riverpointe in Surrey. This four structure complex in Guildford houses 266 strataified units. This complex completed extensive work to their buildings, including: windows, decking, railings, and roofing.
Located in the heart of North Vancouver, Ridge Park Gardens was one of many remediation projects completed by CGC. This beautiful building holds 42 strata units over 5 wood-frame stories. With a complete strip of the exterior, the strata received everything from new windows, decking, roofing and masonry refurbishment.
Windemere is a complex of townhomes located in North Vancouver. With over 12 structures, and 44 units, this gated community was left in much better shape than when we found it. CGC completed a partial rehab on all of the buildings, including roofing, windows and exterior finshings.
Sitting near the preserved ecological lands in Richmond, this single-family residential home had a major extension and renovation completed. The scope of the project included an energy upgrade to ensure its efficiency was able to meet the new provincial targets and standards. Items such as insulation, windows and envelope made the world of difference to this beautiful property.
Located in the Metro Vancouver area of Aldergrove, Kinsmen Park is a complex of subsidized townhomes that support over 50 families housing more than 90 school-aged children. CGC was awarded this government project to ensure the envelope was brought up to current standards. These builings received new windows, exterior finishings and roofing.
Sister building North Vancouver's Ridge Park Gardens, this West Vancouver wood-frame, low-rise structure holds 33 stratafied units over three levels. With a full rainscreen completed, Tudor Gardens was left with a completely new exterior which included decking, windows, roofing, and exterior finishings.
Located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Sechelt Aquatic Centre is a public building offering swimming, arts, and fitness classes to the local community. After years of struggle with the building's envelope, CGC was retained to partially remediate various issues related to the structure's performance.
Home to the Fighting Irish, Vancouver College is among one of the most well respected schools in BC. After appropriate fundraising, the institution underwent significant seismic upgrades throughout the property to ensure the longevity of the buildings and the safety of its students. CGC was able to successfully complete this job both on time, and within budgeted expectations.
Rising above the Yaletown skyline, Elan is a stratafied high-rise housing 229 units over 34 floors. This concrete structure has continued with its share of building envelope issues. CGC has been retained on more than one occassion to address several different decks, windows, and roofing problems that were causing water leaking into the units below.
